Restoring Dignity | Releasing Leaders
“Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to thrust forth [ekballō] laborers into his harvest.” — Matthew 9:38
True discipleship is not about gathering a comfortable crowd to sit in a building; it is about equipping and releasing laborers who are willing to be thrust directly into a fractured world. In a modern landscape saturated with cultures of control, performance-driven metrics, and isolated digital automation, I see young people facing unprecedented levels of social anxiety and fear of failure
In contrast, our ministry philosophy rejects detached oversight and superficial leadership. By grounding our strategy in the radical, sending power of the Gospel—the indead of ekballō—we actively build high-grace, low-fear environments. We exist to see the unseen, protect the vulnerable, and organically raise up next-generation, Christ-centered warriors who are fully secure in their identity and calling.
Inherent Dignity
Human value is a sovereign, unearned gift graciously bestowed by the Creator. It is entirely independent of human intelligence, performance, virtue, or physical ability. To be human is to be an image-bearer (imago Dei). Genesis 1:26–27 establishes that God chose to create humanity out of an outpouring of Triune love and glory to serve as His earthly representatives. While sin has severely marred this likeness, our fundamental value remains fully intact and is permanently redeemed through the physical incarnation and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Sacrificial Leadership Posture
Godly leaders are not defined by popularity, outward appearance, or performance. Leaders are recognized when their internal character most clearly reflects sacrificial posture, not when they are socially distant from those who are deemed “less.” Following the model of Christ in Luke 13, who actively stepped toward the suffering woman in the synagogue, we intentionally step into the raw ugliness, crisis, and pain of broken lives. As sacrificial leaders, we stand at the front lines, choosing to absorb the emotional friction of ministry to shield the vulnerable and protect the flock.
Humility and the Work of the Spirit
Leadership means submission to the Holy Spirit. We recognize that transforming a human soul is the exclusive, sovereign work of the Holy Spirit. This requires deep humility, constant prayer, and a willingness to serve in hidden, unseen places. Leadership isn’t about standing in front of others for personal glory, but about having a sobering awareness that we will be judged with greater strictness.
Empowered Kingdom Discipleship
The ultimate benchmark of healthy discipleship is multiplication. As a ministry leaders, the goal is not to accumulate dependent followers; but to actively look to put oneself out of a job by organically raising up new leaders to take our place. The modern church often fails to develop new leaders because its expectations are completely unrealistic. Making the ceiling for entry impossibly high breeds a culture of timidity. We combat this by creating a culture of Sacred Safety—providing people with the practical freedom to step out, plan, take ownership, and occasionally fail without their world crumbling.
The Development Model of Jesus
When training disciples, the goal is never immediate perfection; but long-term development. Jesus modeled this by establishing a high-grace environment where His disciples could ask questions, make mistakes, fail, and subsequently overcome. We extend realistic expectations covered in loads of grace, taking young people seriously and treating them as individuals dynamically indwelt by the Holy Spirit.
The Ultimate Goal of Ekballō
Ultimately, life and ministry are not defined by positions, but by the leaders released. Success is not measured through a lens of cultural metrics, popularity, or institutional control. Instead, by the depth of restoration experienced by the broken, and by the courage of the laborers who are thrust forth from my ministries into the harvest field.
Until the day Christ returns to make all things new, we will continue to stand at the front lines to shield the vulnerable, speak redemptive truth, and model the unconditional grace of the Triune God. Driven by the sacred worth of the imago Dei. It is out commitment is to empty our hands, share the platform, and pour our lives into others—actively putting us out of a job so that the global Church is equipped with confident, character-driven warriors who will advance the Kingdom of God in every corner of the earth.
